ShufflePro Privacy Policy
Last Updated:July 11, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how ShufflePro ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
ShufflePro is designed with user privacy in mind. We aim to collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve our services.
- Audio Recording Data: When you use the "Record" feature within the App, the audio you record is processed and stored locally on your device. This audio data is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party services. It remains solely on your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.
- Locally Stored Audio Files: Audio files that you load into the App, whether from your device's library or recorded within the App, are stored and processed locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or store these files on our servers.
- Usage Data (Non-Personal): We may collect anonymous and aggregated data about how the App is used. This may include information such as the type of device you use, operating system version, and general feature usage (e.g., how often the "shuffle" feature is used, or the average number of segments). This data is collected in a way that does not identify you personally and is used solely for the purpose of understanding user behavior and improving the App's performance and features. We do not use third-party analytics services that collect personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide App Functionality: To enable core features of ShufflePro, such as recording audio, loading and playing samples, shuffling segments, and exporting audio.
- To Improve and Maintain the App: To understand how the App is used, identify areas for improvement, and ensure stability and performance.
- To Ensure Security: To monitor for and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
3. How Information is Shared
ShufflePro does not share any personally identifiable information with third parties.
- Local Processing: All audio recording and processing, as well as the storage of your audio files, occurs locally on your device. Your audio data is not shared with us or any third parties without your direct action (e.g., if you choose to export or share a file yourself).
- Aggregated Data: Any aggregated, non-personal usage data we collect is for internal analysis only and is not shared with external parties.
4. Data Security
We are committed to protecting the information we collect. Since ShufflePro primarily processes and stores user audio data locally on your device, the security of this data is largely dependent on the security of your device itself. We encourage you to use strong passwords and security features available on your device.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Microphone Access: You can control ShufflePro's access to your device's microphone through your device's privacy settings. If you revoke microphone access, the recording feature will not function.
- Data Deletion: As audio data is stored locally on your device, you can delete recorded or loaded samples directly within the App or by deleting the App itself from your device.
6. Children's Privacy
ShufflePro is not intended for use by children under the age of [Insert an age, e.g., 13, 16, or 18, based on your target audience and legal requirements]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child, we will delete such information from our records.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
